The
audio amplifier
The
audio amplifier amplifies the audio to an audible level, make sure to
twist the speaker leads to help eliminate radio frequency
interference;
This and the detector are two of the major contributors to RFI, and
motor
boating.
Notice that V+ goes to V+ and
not regulated V+, putting it on the regulated side will cause low
volume and RFI.
Put your finger on the audio input with the volume turned all the way
up; if it hums, you did good, else check your circuit.
Build this far away from the
AF or front end (Not built yet) radio portion of the circuit,
suggestively by the regulator!
